My Grandma...rest in peace

Well, April 27 of this year, my grandmother that I have not been close with for over 5 years passed away. Somehow, i had a feeling that the night was going to pass slowly, and all the hope that the doctors gave all of us was not making me feel at ease. I knew she would not live... I told one of my aunts that were at the hospital to tell her that I was

sorry for any and everything over the last 5 year period...and she went

into my grandmas room, and told her. My Grandma could not speak at

that time, but her heart rate went up 40 beats per minute. I told

her that i loved her...I knew she felt the same way. I am crying as

I write this because it has not been long..

As time went on, my mom had to get all of my grandmas rings fixed up to

distribute among the children (her siblings). My mom asked me if I would

like one of them as there was one extra one that my mom was to have because

she was the oldest. At first I declined. About a month later, I decided

why not.

The ring NEVER had to be sized for me...it just went on with no problem.

Then I was real happy! (Because I have 'chubby' fingers:>

About 2 weeks after that, I was on my computer, as I always am. I have

been trying to find my biological family for about 3 and a half years.

Since I was 18 years old my grandma has been there helping along the

best she could by running ads in the local papers. Despite the little

feud we had going on, she never cared...she wanted to help. I put this

MAGIC ring on, and would you believe that I found them in 5 minutes? I

had a stack of e-mail addresses that I have seen time and time again, but this

one just caught me. I made one e-mail, and the next morning I ws talking

to my biological mother, and her parents!

How it changed my life:

You can imagine! I am so happy to have that void gone!
