THIS Mailing 4/98 > Going to 950 Costigan Addresses Dear Costigan Family Member : My name (after adoption is Timothy Ayers). My given name at BIRTH was Daniel Costigan. I am currently 35 years old. Only last year did I come to find out that I was adopted, and that my Birth Mother was ³Rosemary Frances Costigan². My Birth Mother : Rosemary Costigan was born on 12-19-39 and today would be 59 yrs old. In 1963 she had 3 years of college. (Where we do not know). She taught elementary school at a Catholic school in Chicago (St. Philomenaıs). During this time she lived at 1904 N Kildare Street. During this time she became pregnant and carried the baby (me) to term. Interestingly, I was born in Louisiana while she was on her way back to Chicago by rail after visiting someone around Christmas time (possibly in New Orleans) or the southern area. I was born on 1-4-63 at Lollie Kemp Regional Medical Center (Independence Louisiana) and was turned over to my adoptive parents on 1-10-63. Her parents were Edward Costigan who was born in Lodi Wisconsin approx 1914. Her mother was Frances Barry who was born in Cadillac Wisconsin approx 1924. There was a ten (10) year age difference between the parents. She was a Housewife. Key piece of Info > : He was the Director of the Blind for the State Govt of Wisconsin. At the time of Rosemary Frances Costigans birth on 12-19-39 the family lived at : 6411 West Wisconsin Avenue Wauwatesa, Wisc. According to Rosemaryıs birth certificate, she was the second (2) child born to this couple. So (1) older brother or older sister exists or did. Her birth took place at Misericordia Hospital, Ward #2 and attended to by Cledus Ziegler MD. It has taken me over 1 full year to get just this far. I can not begin to try to explain the importance of this to me. This mailing alone is running around $ 500. The last name of Costigan (which originated in Kilkenny Ireland) is rather uncommon and I am hoping one of the numerous letters being sent out will land with someone who can place the people listed above and will actually help someone who is a Costigan by blood. If any of this registers, please call me at 812-333-0108 at any time collect. If you might be close or know the people involved, I assure you that I will respect your life and family. I also can assure you that the information above is true and accurate, and that my desire to have certain questions answered is simply a basic desire to know ³who you are² and where your family comes from. PLEASE help me is you can. It is terrible to not know who you are, your history, your true family and their history. I have had a great life and am doing well. I seek out really limited information and do not expect to place myself into anyones life. I want to know if Rosemary is alive so I can tell her thank you, and mainly : to find out the last name (surname) of my father. I am afraid she is the only one who knows this, and the thought that it might be lost forever if I canıt get to her while she is still alive to find out, makes my physically sick. I canıt even allow myself to think about it for longer than a minute. Friend, your name, Costigan, is an uncommon last name. With the above information, someone should be able to help me place this person. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME. Iım afraid my time is running out. If she is no longer alive, or passes away before I can ask here a couple questions...... my history might be lost forever. No stories to tell my children, no understanding of traits, no medical records or medical histories to help with our lives. And as it stands now, it appears that Medical Histories are going to be important. I am currently searching public records, and all other sources that I can think of in order to find out the information I desire. It is VERY likely that one of you who receives this can help me and has the information I seek. If so ............... It is strictly a numbers game at this point, and only you can help. A numbers game in the sense that I need to contact as many people as possible and also numbers as in the day left until Rosemary passes away if she has not already done so. I currently believe she is alive. Via the Social Security Office in Baltimore MD, I was able to find out that a Rosemary Frances Costigan, born on 12-19-39 in Wisc ³is not in the deceased file² ?? Please.... if your last name is Costigan (particularly by birth) call me and let me ask you a couple questions. What more can I say.
