Ouija Board, Puhlease!! I'm one of those skeptics. I always try to come up with a logical explanantion for strange happenings. Like what happened to my best friend Nicki and me last year in June of 1998. It happened when we both 13 and 1/2.(I'm 14 now) First let me describe my friend Nicki. She's the complete opposite of me. She's a believer in the supernatural(yeah right!). She's a complete scaredy cat of almost everything that moves. But what's weird she loves to be scared or so it seems. I can't understand why. She loves to have things like seances(I think that's how you spell it)and she plays with Ouija Boards all the time. She watches shows like "Unsolved Mysteries" and stuff. Hey! She even told me this website existed. She so into it that she goes into weird trances and stuff. Then she says she just made "contact" with the recently deceased. Even though she's pretty weird I like her still. I'm a skeptic. Never believe in any of that stuff.(I just like to pretend to be for fun). Sometimes she gets upset with me when I laugh her about her beliefs. When she brings her Ouija to my sleep overs. I say "Get that crap out of my house!" Then she always says "You won't be saying it's crap when it really works!" Then I always say, "Never!" I sometimes wonder why we are friends a because we are like day and night. But I guess the saying opposites attract is really true. Any we agree on alot of other stuff like boys, clothes, etc. Now lets get to the story. It was a warm cool early summer night. About two weeks after we went on summer break. I was at home watching some stupid comedy show called"Zoey,Duncan,Jack, and Jane". They phone rang. "Hello, May I ask who I am speaking to" I said. "Hey girl!" Nicki said. "Hey What's up Nick" "I was just wondering if you wanted to come for a sleepover tonight." "Sure who else is going to be there" "Just me and you" "Sounds boring" We both laughed. "Yep and I'm going try out this new Ouija board I got from the mall" "Ouija Board Puhlease!!" "Come on it'll be fun" "Okay give me 10 min." "Okay see you" "Bye"I said as I hung up the phone. I asked my mom she said "Yes" as usual.(she and Nicki's mom are best friends too) I packed my pajamas,toothbrush,etc and my mom dropped me off at Nicki's house. Okay now let me describe Nicki's house unlike my normal comtempary house. Nicki lives in this white nearly a century year old Victorian House. Even though its old her parents keep it up quite well. They renovated everything in the house. They had modern plumming,electric lighting,and air condition/heater vents placed in the house. Some the lumber that built the house was replaced with new boards that were chemically treated for termite protection. They had repainted the house a white that sparkled in the sun. To put short their house looks brand-new inside and out. The only way you could tell its old is the style of the house or if you ask them how old it is. Okay back to the story. I kissed my mom goodbye and I rang the electric doorbell. Nicki's mom a very glamorous woman indeed answered the door. "Hi Kammy! How are you!"she said. "I'm fine Mrs.______"I replied. I looked at her curiously, she was all dressed up as if ahe were going somewhere. I walked passed her into the bright house. "Nicki's in the living room watching tv oh and take off your shoes!"she said. I took off my sneakers. Nicki's mom doesnt want anybody with shoes on her beautiful fluffy white carpet. Miraculously with Nicki's 5 year old brother the carpet stays as sparkly white as the paint on the house. I walked through the huge foyer and through 2 long narrow hallways to get to the the basement door. I opened the door and went downstairs to the basement or den. I think the den or basement is the best place in the house. Nicki's dad hates going to the movies so he set up a mini theater in the basement. They have a really big screen tv about 70 or 80 inches I think. A sound system that will blast you off the face off the earth. Dvd,Vcr,Satellite,the works. Any back to the story. As I went down the stairs I could hear "A Bug's Life" blasting on the mini theater. Obviously Nicki's brother Mikey was watching his favorite movies again. Nicki wouldn't be caught dead watching such crap unless her mother made her watch it with Mikey. "Hey Nick!" I yelled when I got down the stairs. "Hey Kam!What took you so long!" she yelled. I plopped down next to her on the huge black leather couch. "I was here early but it took me 10 min. to walk through your mile long hallways!" I yelled. She laughed. I always made fun of how huge her house was. Annoyed with yelling Nicki grabbed the remote and turned down the sound system. "I can't hear!I'm telling MOM!"Mikey shouted as got up from carpet and ran up the basement stairs. "Little brat!It's your bedtime anyway!"she shouted after him. Then her eyes lit up. "Oh come let's go upstairs I want to show you my new ouija board." So we ran up two flights of stairs to her room on the second level of the house. Her room looked like any ordinary teenage girls room. Except it was really large and it had an extra high ceiling. She had pretty wallpaper with purple and pink hearts on it. The carpet was pink and fluffy. She had a king-sized canopy bed. Matching bed spread and drapes with little hearts like the wallpaper. I white wicker dresser with mirror and matching chair. A drawer thing for socks and underwear and a matching cabinet made out of white oak. She had N'sync,Backstreet Boys,Joey McIntyre,and Jordan Knight Posters on her wall. A white oak shelve filled with sci-fiction,horror,fantasy,and especially ghost stories and stuff about supernautral. Anyway back to the story. We walked in the room and I dropped my bag on her bed. She walked in to her huge walkin closet and came out with a box shaped like a board games come in. "Look!"she said giving me the box. The box said "Madame Telina's Ouija Board for Summoning and Communicating with spirits of the deceased" It had the picture of this fortune teller lady with a with half of her face in a shadow.Her hands were positioned over a crystal ball with a cloudy skull in it. Her dark eyes seemed to be looking straight at me as I threw the box down and said, "Puhlease!" "I knew you would say that!" Nicki said. "I know this one will work cause Madame Telina told me this Ouija Board was enchanted by her great grandmother who was a powerful gypsy witch!"Nicki insisted. "How Much did you pay for it?"I asked. "$75.00"she said. "$75.00! Are you crazy?!I would have bought a some clothes and cds with that money!" I said to her. "Well I'm not you!"she retorted back with a angry look in her eyes. TO BE CONTINUED PLEASE TELL ME HOW MY STORY IS SO FAR SO I COULD WRITE THE NEXT PART IT IS A FAIRLY LONG STORY WITH A LOT OF DETAILS AND A LOT OF SCARES IF YOU TELL ME MY STORY IS GREAT IT WON'T BE IN VAIN.
