For one I am not denying that you are writing a real book because I have no proof you aren't so I'll trust you on that ( I mean it's not easy to trust people these days as we all know ) but who would waste thier time on lying unless they were scared to say they haven't tried it and want to use other peoples expeiences to see if it's safe so I'll trust you. Anyways, I for one am not going to lie to you all I have never looked at a "spook-box" in the words of my 11 year old brother, while it was out of the store or in a box.But please include in your book DO NOT TRY THIS UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO FIND OUT THINGS OR HEAR THINGS YOU DONT WANT TO HEAR... Whenever we would start to contact someone else, he would always cut into the conversation. It was very strange to say the least. We also apparently contacted a young man from montana. I can't remember his name, but he said he was taken before his time and was very young. As far as our surroundings go, our group ouija sessions always took place in the living room of my parents house. The sessions with my brother and myself usually took place in my room. As for believing in what happened, I definitely believe. I'm still fascinated with the ouija to be honest with you, but I have a daughter now so I would never endanger her by bringing a ouija into the house. I also think I've had enough scares for one lifetime... lol |

Bob and Anna were the spirits we contacted.Bob started out to be very nice, almost a flirt and full of compliments. He even spelled very well. Anna started out nice claiming to be my grandmother. I'll post the stories soon, but I doubt anyone would believe me. I used it alone and my friends only believed me because I turned into a basketcase jumping at every little sound.  |

My experience w/ the quija board is quiet intersting! When we first got on there which it was about me and 3 of my friends... we got in contact w/ something evil... it wouldn't say goodbye and when it did it would go to the #6. well most of my friends are wiccan! and if you know any thing about the religion they bless boards before they play them! You can only do it like on a full moon or something... any ways... we couldn't get it off the board so we had to run down to my friends house and get her to bless the house. needless to say we burnt the board... and it crystalized it took two hours to burn! we put camping fuel or something on it... i mean come on it's a parker brothers quija board! it's card board... well i own two boards... now... one is both parker brothers.. ones a glow in the dark board which we atleast play once a week... the other we got some "wizard named eurza on the board" it said it was being controled by jackle another name for satan... so we stopped playing that board... and went to playing the glow in the dark one... and we got every "demon" spirit... on there... every thing from... " jackle... to satan ... Blair witch which i thought was bs" you know! cause what ever it was would not say good bye and always goes to no when we ask it it's name and it we ask it if it's a good spirit.. and of course it said yes then we asked it if it was lying and it said yes... so... me and my boy friend before we started playing w/ these stupid things... were hearing noises like some one knocking on the back door which is impossible! because it's a 7 ft drop off we've heard doors slam and it sounded like some one was walking through the house... we got up to check and no one was there.. we heard someone tapping at the window.... and it's like 7-8 ft off the ground... and no one was out there so we got on the board to try to see who it was and we at first got someone named chris... who supposedly died in a car accident on his way to see jen on her b-day... thats my boy friends ex girl friend... he died comming down to see her... he told us his last name... which will still have to ask her but then after playing it a couple weeks it wasn't chris any more this thing that won't get off the board tries to use his name but you can tell if it's a good or bad spirit just by the presence! My advice is to never show fear! cause you run into spirits everyday w/ out realizing it... people tend to block it out.. Amanda |

I've only tried my hand at the ouija board a few times; sometimes with a partner, sometimes alone. Nothing ever occurred that impressed me as coming from the spirit world. Non the less I do believe in it having read and heard many accounts wich do impress me.  |

WHEN I PLAYED IT. IT WAS ABOUT 10 YRS. AGO...... HES NAME WAS THOR..... HE PREDICTED SOME THINGS. I WAS ONLY IN THE 7TH GRADE THAT YEAR IT WAS ABOUT THIS TIME OF YEAR TOO. I REMEMBER ALMOST ALL THE FAMILY WAS THERE ,BUT PLAYING IT WAS ONLY ME AND MY BEST FRIENDS BROTHER ( A SATAN WORSHIP PERSON THEN) IT WAS CRAZY BUT ANYWAYS .. IT TOLD US A COUPLE OF THINGS 1.THAT MY COUSIN A GIRL ONLY IN IN 6TH GRADE THEN WOULD DO 1 OF TWO THINGS WITH HER LIFE.. 1ST.BECOME A CHEERLEADER AND BE SUCCSESSFUL OR HAVE A BABY AT A BERY YOUNG AGE. SURE THING ABOUT 1 AND HALF YR. LATER SHE WAS A MOM.....CRAZY. 2. | Date: 10/11/1999 2:06:00 PM I once plaied this game in an upstaires bedroom at one of my firend's sleep-over birthdays. I wasen't asking the questions, god knows why. I wanted to ask questions though so I told my firend the questions and she asked them. The answers to the questions made me cry. The sprit we connected with was the one of one of my recentally departed firends form my church that none of my firneds knew. I asked him questions that only he would know and he got them all right. I have had some odd experiances. I was at my cousin's house. The spirit talked to us, it was stormy out. His name I can't remember, but he said (i think,) he was a farmer. We asked him to show himself, he blew the doors shut and there was a sudden blackout. That freaked me out. The second time I was at my friend's house, and it was kinda rainy out. She was eating something, and we talked to the spirits. They named themselves A B C D F E and so on. They immobilized my friend, (I didn't believe that part, she always used to do that,) but I did believe the part about A B and C. It totally freaked me out. I felt like I was being watched, and my friend joked about bringing them with her whereever she went... Now I believe it, because she's turned into something else. I have been interested in the Ouija board for quite some time. I don't like to talk about some of my experiences though. One of the spirits that I communicate to is named "Z". "Z" is a spirit that likes attention and he has been following me ever since i've been using the Ouija board. Once I contact "Z" all of the other spirits quit communicating with me. It seems as if "Z" doesn't let any of the other ones communicate. The usual surrounding that I have been in are dimly lit rooms, lakes, my backyard, and cemetarys. I always perform a ritual before using the Ouija board which cosists of drinking dark wine, lighting dark candels, and on occasion blowing smoke across the board. I have heard that these things can summon some of the most evil spirits. That is what I am interested in doing, so I try alot of different techniques. So far I have seen a shoe fly across my room and smash into the wall, and i've had alot of evil dreams, along with strange noises when i'm sleeping. The shoe is what really got me interested in the Ouija board. Everything else is really interesting too though. Just last night after I used it with two female friends (I am male) I contacted "Z" and he started to make me feel really sick to the point of where I almost passed out. So I ended our session bye saying goodbye and soon fell asleep. While I was sleeping I dreamed that my bedroom floor was one huge eyeball. It had dark red scales around it and it kept blinking at me and watching me. Soon after that dream my leg fell out of bed and my foot hit the floor. It suddenly felt all weird, kind of a frightening numbness. The girl that I was sleeping with quickly woke me up and asked me why I was shaking. I didn't know that I was shaking though. She told me that my whole body was convulsing. I quickly forgot about it, because i've gotten used to weird things like that, and then went back to sleep. I plan on using the Ouija again tonight, and will keep using it untill I become a medium, or I become something else. I can tell that it is changing me somehow, but I am not sure if it is a good change or a bad one. |

You want to be a medium?! You should know everything before you surrender yourself to evil. Only the lowest spirits converse on the Ouija board, the ones that are the most violent, and should be feared. I'm scared for you. |

I even hid the planchette, and 12 years later I occasionally find myself wishing I could remember where I put it. I was then and now find myself drawn to it. So much so I was willing to hide the planchette but not get rid of it. I always spoke to "Oz" and believe 100% in the Ouija board powers. |

I have played and I believe strongly that if you get a good spirit, you will here truth to your questions. One time we played and I had just broke up with a boyfriend I was with 5 years. I was concerned about his well being. And asking lots of questions about his past and future. I asked if he was going to get in any kind of trouble? The board replied yes and it told me what he was going to get in trouble for. I asked when will this happen. I asked the question in the month of February. It told me the month he was going to get in trouble. Which was like 6 months later and IT HAPPENED. I really never believed in it. But when those 6 months passed and he got in trouble and got in trouble for what the ouija told me. I really believe now. I think it just really has alot to do with the spirit you get. And you also always have to ask if its lying. I wouldn't play again with one because I really think its posible for the spirit to stay in your house. I could go on and on with stories but I'm here at work so I gotta get back to work. Good Luck on your book! If you want to hear more, Let me know but as for now I've got to go. She was determined to prove to me that it was so she put a toy car on her desk with a line drawn in front of it and asked the spirit we were talking to to move the car. Well we waited for a few minutes and nothing happened and I said "Let's go" so we started walking back to the ouiji board and all of a sudden i turned around and the wallet that was lying on her desk flew across the room and hit the wall. We were so freaked out we ran out of the room and stayed in the living room for the rest of the day. |
| Date: 10/19/1999 10:33:00 AM i have played the ouija board recenlty. i'm a student at grand valley state university in allendale michigan. i'm a frshman and so are my freinds. weve played many times and we got the same spirits. one was named lamar, a 19 yr old boy. another was named yox, she was about 30 and had three kids. lamar would constantly come back and ask could steve, a freind always be there and when he was he would tell the others to leave. yox told us to go to oz, and kept spelling out zombia. has anybody ever heard of that? lamar would always kick yox out of the way and start talking to us.. we could tell becasue the planchette would go to the to the corners ina figure 8 type of way. we havent played in a while. |

i've benn using a ouija board for the last 6 years and i have to say that some of the experiences i have had are really interesting. My bestfriend and i were using the board and we were just looking around playing silly game with it and the next thing you we are having a conversation with "LINK" apparently a spirit from the early sixteen hundreds who was hung after stealing from a lord anyway he went tell us about his life since he was only 12 when he died. He was beaten daily and was fed mostly on oats and home made bread that his mother would make' he had hardly any clothes and stuff. Link wanted to know what the world was really like now he wanted to be mortal again he wanted to be released from whereever he was anyway we spoke to him a few more times after this and then he disappeared never to be heard of again. i wish i could still speak to him as it was rather interesting to hear what he had to say. gem |

dear writer person my ouiji experience was with a friend and we played and thought it was a hoax but once the planchette started to move it scared us but we kept on playing because it was interesting and facinating we talked to a spirit called ted a twelve year old that grew up in rangly and died by a gas explosion at the end he said i have to go back now and we asked him where that was and he replied by throwing the board across the room and shutting off all the lights it was very very very scary i will never play ouiji again so have fun with your little book |

My Name is Neville Hopkins and I can certainly vouch that there is a force other than myself moving the plancette How do I know for sure you may ask ? Well one time I decided to use the Ouija Board by myself instead of Vicki(my girlfriend) and it moved to letters which I have since forgotten but I know for sure that it works I dont need to prove it to anyone the main thing is that I proved it to myself ! Being religous my faith in God, Spirits and the other side has only increased... One thing I can say is that there are a lot of michefious sprits out there and ones that will try and twist the truth (so dont belive everything you read) a lot of spirits communicate in jibberish/nonsense and there are others that are quite friendly! Most times I cross examine a spirit and a lot of them contredict themselves (probably lying/deceiving spirits?) The main thing is to treat a spirit with respect and by no circumstance let them enter your body, do not ask for A SIGN, dont ask about the future they dont usually tell you and if they do it is always garbage!! If a spirit wants to leave LET THEM LEAVE and dont forget to thank them for there time and tell them THEY MAY GO IN PEACE I just find it is a nice gesture to them for taking the time to communicate with you. I strongly advise against ever using a ouija board. My experience with them wasn't too spooky. Two of my cousins and I played with one together a few times when we were kids (around ages 8-12), at their house. I don't remember the contacts name, but it seemed like a good one. I think it was a female. We kept acusing eachother of moving the pointer, although we could also feel another strange presence in the room with us. I was stupidly curious if one of them were really moving the pointer or if something else could have been moving it. I knew I wasn't moving it!! So, one day, at my house that I grew up in, I decided to try it alone. Now, this is already a stupid idea, because I beieve that the house I grew up in was haunted and I had many, many, strange experiences in that house. I'm not sure if it was actually haunted or residual energy there, but I do know that I definatley HATED being in that house alone!!! Anyway, that's another topic, back to the ouija board.....I don't remember the contacts name. I don't think he would answer when I asked. I do remember asking it's name alot because I remember getting a little frustrated that it answered questions except for it's name. I swear to you, although I was alone, the pointer moved by itself. I was not moving it.The more questions I asked, the stonger the pull on the pointer grew. It felt like a strong "magnetic" pulling sensation. I felt uneasy about the presence around me. Something just didn't feel right. And it felt like another presence was there or interrupted us or something. There was a definate change of feel in the room. I was home alone and I had tried this in the daytime (around 2PM or 3PM). I ended the session and put the board back in my sister's closet (I had snuck it out) and put it back the way I found it. I can't say that the ghost-type of events that occured were due to the ouija board because, like I said, they happened before and after I used the ouija board. |
| Date: 8/16/2000 10:36:00 AM Quija boards don't attract "evil" spirits. The spirits that a Quija board contacts are spirits that haven't "passed on" yet. For spirits not to have gone to the next plane, they have to have a reason for still being here. There's spirits in my house, I have a little girl that's looking for her mother, this is very sad. And a cat, which we have seen numerious times roaming around the house, maybe it doesn't know it's dead. We haven't had any problems with a bad spirit yet, but they're out there. No spirit is evil, but they can be harmful. They might want to get revenge for they're death, are mad because of something that has happened before they died, or aggervated because they couldn't get something done before they died, you never know. Spirits can get angery just like people can, except they have certain powers that can be harmful, and they might use them to hurt you! You might be very helpful to some sirits too. If they're angery don't get scared and pack up the board and forget about it! It must be very lonely traped in lymbo, the spirit just found a way to contact you, it won't just get up and leave! If you contact a spirit like that see what it's traped here for, help him or her travel beyond our relm. I hope I was helpful to some of you, Edman3353(@ourhouse.net) |

Yes, i have played Ouiji. I played it 2 other people (all 3 of us made it together). We contacted 2 spirits who died in 1361. They had lived in Siberia and had died together. There names were Max and Lecone, they were both 19 when they died. |
| Date: 10/19/2000 8:52:00 AM I've played on the ouiji board for a while now and nothing weird has ever happened! I talk to one of my good friends(a guy I use to like) all the time. He commited suicide. No one really knew why so I thought I'd find out. I did find that if you think of a certain word or the answer to your question in your head it'll spell what your thinking out, even if it has nothing to do with any thing. So if you want right answers clear your thoughts in your head. Try it think of a word sometime then ask it what your thinking. It'll spell it out, or ask a question then think of an answer for it in your mind, and see if it feeds off your thoughts. Then you know you have the wrong person if it does. |

'devil' also said that we have witch powers and we got them when we were born from him 'our father'. this was scary, i plan to do this 1 more time but if we get 'devil' talking to us again then i'll never ever touch that again. I think that the Quija board is dangerous if you don't know how to use it. you can never say "proove that your reall" or somthing like that coz i heard that you basically invite them or it into your house. Ever since i used the quija board and talked to 'the devil' i've been having really bad headaches. |

I am 55 yrs young-Portuguese,Irish,Italian & Spanish. Mostly Portuguese. My great grandmother was a dearly loved mid-wife-spititualist,believer in God & the Blessed Mother & Catholic. She had a Ouija board and from the time I was a little girl as was my sister we were TOLD,"never-never-ever touch this. It is very easy for a bad spirit o slip thru. My sister & I as well as my mom & dad have believed in the spirit world...Good & bad and the devil who is trying to always take souls.There were certain things we could not do or say around the house,ie "mommy someone is at the door for you...thn she would come & no one was there-we wanted to trick her. She said"<" NEVER do that because your inviting the "spelling is pho net ick. I have lost some or most of my Portuguese spelling. so she said,that if we did that the"Fate-say-da's" could possibly trick you and enter our world. I believe in good & bad spirits. I always have my Rosary Beads with me & have taught our children(4) with 6 grandchildren the same things. I see them in the store in the games department asnd quickly say a prayer and leave that section ASAP!!!!!!!!.My great-grandmother used the board but we were not allowed in the room. She helped & fixed babies & people that were sick and my mother said she was really good at it. I am a Native daughter of the Golden West-I was born in Berkeley, CA come from a wonderful family Mom & Dad 1 sister-many many aunts & Uncles. My mother always goes out & in the same door-We all believe in GOOD SPIRITS and PSYCHIC'S. although I myself am afraid to go and only had 1 reading on the phone...But it was a friend of mines sister. I believe GOD and the church have many enemies and that we have to pray more.HE is not happy with us nor with the way the world is going. We ended up "talking" to a little boy, all I can really remember is that he was either 4 when he died, or he is 4 right now. When we asked him how he died the one light that was on in her room flickered. After that, the game piece moved to goodbye. |

If you play and get a spirit that "says" or "does" something that you don't like, you should talk to it, calm it down, ask it what it wants, why it's going after you, ect., ect. Be careful who or what you talking too, you never know what's going to happen. |

My name is D. I'm a professional living and working in the Uk. My story with ouija starts way back in the early 90's when I was in uni. It was a time when me and my friends were quite into drinking, drugs etc. etc. and the things that go with wild uni life. One night, a close friend of mine and I tried to contact a spirit via the ouija board. It was honestly one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. Maybe because we were vulnerable, young, or just stupid. Anyway, we managed to contact a spirit, who unfortunately is with me to this day. There is a much longer story behind this - why and how...but I think I should save that only for readers who are intersted. I have had a VERY negative experience with that board. I now belive that it is not the actual board that bring about the many lost spirits but what the players do with the board as the porthole. After playing this game I began to hear whipsers in the night. i ws not delusional or houlusinating, for others also began to hear the whispering and feel a presence. Prior to this experince I would not classify myself as superstisous or easily influenced. But till this day I have swonr never to play it again. The game start fisrt by having the spirit honestly tell you the truth about certain questions then beganin my case to take on a very hostile personality. I can still remember his name and I haven't played in it 8 years. "Meca" began to cuse and rotate to triangular part in a figure simular to "8" except on iot's side. I hope my testimonial will at least warn someone of the possible uncertaintys that may result in "opening" a type of path or doorway where spitits freely communicate and are part of the living". | Date: 12/29/2000 8:31:00 PM When i was over at my friends house it worked and the spirit said"HA Ha" and it really freaked me out but i thought it was fun.After i did it over at her house i was going to try it in mine because i knew there was something in my room so i bought one myself and me and another friend tried it at my house but it wouldnt work and it was the same type of board.(The reason it said ha ha was because we were joking around alot before we got serious and i guess he thought it was funny). |
