The Shaking Bed   Author: 518  Category:(Mysterious) Created:(9/25/1999 9:53:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (1371 times) This is just one of many mysterious occurrences in my lfetime. This particular incident occurred when I was a little girl, approximately 9 or 10 years old. To begin with, I was raised by my great aunt from around 6 to 14 years of age. When I was small, she and her family touched somewhat the "dark side". Such as, they would try spirit writing, putting their hands on a table and try to raise the table, etc. My aunt had left her husband and took me with her. We moved from the country into the city into a small one bedroom garage apartment. The apartment was up over the garage. She was a nurse's aid and worked the evening shift getting home around 11 p.m. I stayed alone until she got home. One night, I was awakened out of sleep b the bed shaking. I was terrified and there was nothing I could do as we did not have a phone, so I just sat in the living room until she got home at which time I told her what had happened. She didn't believe me and thought I was just afraid after watching something on tv or whatever. When we went to bed, it shook. She tried to explain it away but it happened several nights in a row. We started sleeping in the living room on the couch that made out into a bed. She began looking for another place to live. We moved and not long after, the garage apartment we had lived in burned to the ground. We feel to this very day that the shaking bed was a warning by someone or something to scare us enough to get out of there to save our lives. How it changed my life: To keep an open mind.
