If I were a shrink I would say you have some abandonment isues, but I am not so the world is a safer place. I used to have a dream simular to that. Looking back on the whole thing. I think it's just childhood fears that have to work themselves out in piculiar ways that we are not meant to understand. From the time I was about three till around 9 i had a dream about tthe man in the closet. The reason for this was when I was about two or so. I know I was little anyway. I can remember my older brothers and sisters telling me story after warped story of a man hiding in the closet. This sank in I suppose to the point that it had to surface some way to work itself out. So for years i dreamed about the boogey man in the closet. I think we just outgrow all of it and life becomes this boring thing. Too bad Huh? |

Don't let this dream frighten you. Houses and buildings in dreams usually represent the activities of one's self. The condition of the house (dark pink) represents the dreamer's state of mind and recent relationships or activities to people in the dream or those present in the back ground.Since people are not present in your dream it tells of a problem the dreamer has with themselves. Proper evluation of this dream brings an answer and it tells of a lonliness within you and that nothing seems to be able to fill the lonliness (looking for people). The color of the house represents a weakness and is asking you to take a deeper look at the illusion you are harboring (the basement) and by that I mean, cellars relate to buried emotions that leave one depressed. Don't be afraid to explore your feelings and bring them out into the open by talkng about them. The doubts (fear) your feel (upon going down stairs) is keeping you from facing whatever has been eating at you. Exploring the lower portion of the mind not only releases us from the hardship and lonliness of life, but it wakens the spirit to reach out and enjoy the sunlight of life. Is there someone you can talk to about your feelings and if not, have you thought about talking to someone who'll help guide you through these dark moments of yours? Don't be afraid to face the issue, you'll find out when you do, there really isn't anything wrong with you, it was only doubts that were keeping you from enjoying life. Remember the house, is a person's psyche, the upper floor of a house is a persons conscious mind, the ground floor, the first level of one's unconscious and the cellar is the primitive parts of self and difficult to reach if ignored. You dream is telling you and encouraging you to seek out the greater depths of your mind and rid your self of the fears - the very same fears that are keeping you from enjoying life. Hope this is of some help to you. I wish you well and hope you'll find someone to walk you through this difficult time in your life. Don't give up and try to see yourself as your best friend and treat yourself with kindness, and yes, self love. You are the most important person in your world, so take good care of yourself and realize you are very special and there is a reason as to why you are here. REgardless of what Mankind will state to e true, one thing that can never to erased or explained away is the belief that: No one was put on this earth to suffer muchless cry. Embrace life and watch what happens. |
