One year my family and I decided to move upstairs from a bar in 1990, to help my grandma and grandpa with the bar they had owned. I was about 11 years old. They had owned the bar for many years before and they were getting older and they needed help running the bar. They had bought the bar off a lady named Betty. Betty had died of cancer shortly after my grandparents bought the bar. My mom told me that she had met Betty and she didn't want to die or sell the bar. After we moved in, my grandma had told me lots of ghost stories that happened in the bar and upstairs where we had now lived but, I always said I didn't believe her. I never did believe in ghost. Well one night my brother and I were getting ready for bed because it was a school night and it was getting late. My brother and I shared a room that was on the other side of the house of my mom and dad. We laid down on the floor side by side. I was just starting to doze off when my brother woke me up tapping me on my back. The room was pitch dark. I thought I was dreaming. He then spoke telling me to look in the corner of the room. I then got scared but, looked anyways. It was then I new I wasn't dreaming. I could see nothing but, darkness. I said I don't see anything. He said "Look at that white cloud in the corner". I was really getting scared now because it was so dark and I was wondering how my brother was seeing this cloud but, at the same time I made it sound like my brother was playing around. So I told him to shut up and go back to bed. I felt my brother lie down next to me again. I closed my eyes. Then I felt my brother sit up again. I knew he was just sitting there staring at that cloud he told me about but, I was to scared to say anything. Suddenly, I felt my brother next to me. It felt like someone had just pushed my brother into me really hard. My brother started crying. I turned around and asked him what happened. He said "Someone just punched me in the eye". My heart dropped. At first I thought someone was in the room but, I never heard the door open. It was still dark in the room. I then picked my brother up and we ran to my mom and dad. My brothers eye was already puffing up. Everybody was sleeping and woke up to my brothers cry. We told everbody what happened. My dad quickly checked the house but, the doors were all still locked. It was then I believed it was the ghost of Betty. How it changed my life:It is now that I believe in ghost and I will be back to tell you some more stories that happened from then 1990 to 1997.
