Well, my last birthday was pretty sad because I had just lost my mother 4 days before. So, I asked my friends and family to postpone my birthday for one month. So, how did I celebrate that day .. awww, my daughter made it very special for me. She sent me off to get a manicure .. then picked me up and took me to dinner followed by an awesome concert of Duran Duran. I felt completely pampered that day. Then a few days after that, my sweetie George took me out to my favorite restaurant for a very romantic dinner. Clifford .. we now have a question for you .. how did you spend your last birthday ??? :-D  |

Ginger , it has been so long ago , I can't even remember. My brother and his family had me over at their house for a birthday supper and then I opened presents. It was pretty much the same tradition as every year. I can't even remember what I ate for supper or what I got for my birthday. Ask me how it went after this coming July 27th. I should remember the answer then. LOL !!!!!!!!!! That don't sound like much fun does it?  |

One more thing I want to mention. When it comes to eating anything at my brother's house , you don't eat just a meal or just cake. She fixes great food and deserts. |

Awww My Puppy ... being over at your families home and eating with them and opening presents sounds wonderful to me. They cared and love you enough to have you over for dinner and try to get you something that you might like ... awww, it's great to have family !!!Believe me, I have known people who had family who couldn't care less. So all family who care are a big deal to me. :) .. *hands puppy a chew treat* |

I went Ice skating during the day w my family. Went to Spec's with my hubby. Then went home and cooked alfredo and made drinks for family and friends. My mommy cooked Spaghetti. Yummm. She makes the best spaghetti in the world. ---Teal Dreams--- |

Ussualy my hubby,and my children would have some presents,and special way for me on my birthday,sinced i started feeling old(38) now (present) or before that,i asked them not to worry about it anymore.Still each year my husband would insist on something like jewelry,or whatever it is i fancy.I told my hubby i will never invest on a jewelry no matter if i was the richest woman in the world.For me it's just a waste of money i rather give them to the poor who can have a good use for it....Now,if my son or husbands birthday comes around,i would cook some special food they love,and have a birthday cake for them.My children always have some presents i know they wanted or have spoken in the past.....My personality is this,i think of others before me.I rather give than to receive....I don't feel right when someone gives me something unless it's truly deserving,even if it was my birthday,anniversary,and so on....I know i'm a weird one lol......  |

I had a small get together at my house. I ended up getting upset, because there was this guy that got a bit drunk and when he's drunk he speaks only German. That really irritated me, cause no one could understand him, just my friend that is German. She can't speak it much, but understands it. We all got a bit drunk now that I remember. I'm a bartender.. that's my job HAHA :P  |
