Possibly an entity that visited only in the area between sleep and awake. My husband and I hadn't lived in this house but a year when I started waking up in the middle of the night from a deep sleep to see a clouded, dark figure stand ing over me and just looking at me, I could sense it even while I was asleep and that sensation is probably what woke me. I looked at it for a split second before screaming and pointing at it, my husband saw nothing but says he knows I did by the way I was looking at it. Another night I woke up and was so frightened that I jumped completely over my husband in bed, I couldn't believe he couldn't see it. Mabey it was a dream I thought, but it seemed so real. Time passed and I still had the episodes happen every now and then but felt they were just nightmares for some reason, possibly stress related, but once when I was at home by myself, sleeping early in the morning, I felt a cold tingling sensation go over my back as I lye there, I knew something was in there with me, I was to afraid to look around the room, instead I jumped up and left the bedroom. Another year passed and one particular night my husband did see someone, he woke me telling me to look at the foot of the bed, there was definetely someone standing there, we turned on the lights but it was gone. Later on as we lay sleeping one night, we both awoke to the sound of a thumping (as if on the ground) outside the house, it seem to go completely around the entire home, we ran to all the windows,(it was a small home), to see who was out there messing around. I, saw something run past by daughters window, but it was too fast too recognize. My husband decided to open the front door and take a look around, he saw no one, but he did see that the bark on the gound was in disaray. We never could explain to ourselves how this person could have run around the house so fast, especially since there were gates at both sides. This was when we finally admitted that something strange was going on. I asked for help one night so I wouldn't have to have those nightmares again, I got it, shortly after that episode I really felt it was time to move. We did not mention these experiences to the people who purchased our home because how could we be sure it just wasn't a lot of coincedences. However two weeks after they moved in they tracked us to our in-laws. They wanted to know if we had ever heard any strange knocking noises in our bedroom by the window? That's when we knew it was for real, there was something happening in that room. It got so loud for them one night they had to sleep at a hotel. It seem to be more apparent to the gentleman, who thought they should have it checked out, the woman's grandmother was a dabbler in doing this. When she came to the house she said she sensed a bad feeling, and she did hear the knocking noise, she slept in the bedroom that evening to see if anything happened. I spoke to her personally because I was so interested to see if she had the same experience, she had one similiar to mine when I felt the tingling sensation. She mentioned that she was frightened, there were three entities according to her but she could not find out what they wanted. She sprinkled 'Holy Water' around the room and told the entities to leave. She didn't know if it would work, although her grandson and grandaughter have said they do not hear the knocking as loud as before,and not as often. When I spoke to her she confirmed everything that happen to us. How it changed my life:I belive.
