One day a friend of mind named Fred White called me from his job in Apanough Rhode Island. He told me to come at 5:00pm, the time he got he got out,and then we could plan for something to do. He didn't work that far from where I lived at the time so I walked over to his Job. When I got there I was about 15 minutes early so I just stood outside in front of the building where he worked and lit up a cigarette to kill some time. After about 10 minutes of waiting I turned and looked across the street where there was a dirt lot and notice that people started to pull in and get out of their cars. As they did that I noticed that they were pointing at the sky and talking about something,but could'nt quite understand what they were saying,but whatever it was they seemed to be very excited about what ever it was. As I stood there for a few minutes more I noticed that there was some more cars pulling in, and they all got out and were also looking up to. Finally I figured out that what ever they were peering at must be something out of the unusual so I turned and looked up also but the bulding that I was standing next to blocked my view of what they were looking at. So I stepped away from the building and walk up the sidewalk about 10 feet and then looked up again. What I seen could not describe anything that I had ever then or untill this day, the only way I can describe it is that it was an Oval object that was very bright. I would have to say that it about 1/3 the brightness of the sun because inspite of it's brigtness you could look at it with know problem. As I continues too peer at it my friend came out and I called him over to look at it. Also another thing that made it so unusual was the fact that as it was moving from West to East about every 5 seconds 2 little colored balls one after the other came out of the bottom...Each time they came down they would slowly vanish. It took no longer than what I personally thought was 5 or 6 minutes to go from arisen to arisen. When it got to the Eastern part of the sky it appeared to just vanish, I don't know if it was because of the distance,but like I said it almost looked like it just vanished. The strange thing about this story is when I asked my friend about the lighted little colored balls that came out of the buttom he said that he did'nt see them. I asked him if he was kidding me and he said with a serious face,no I did'nt. How it changed my life:It made me think that there is a good possibility that there is life else where with'in this vast Universe
