I am looking for two half sisters that I have never known, and they probably do not know about me. We share the same father. Our father was married once before my mother and had two daughters, Sharon and Diane Rawlins. (My father, who died in 1977, was Robert Donald Rawlins.) For reasons I don't know, when he and his first wife divorced, he lost all contact with his daughters. I was 8 when my father died, so I cannot ask him any questions. I found out when I was grown about this. He would never talk about it with my mother, as she tells me. I have a picture of each of the girls when they were children, probably 5 or 6 and 8 or 9. I think he may have lived in the Torrance, Calif. area at the time of his first marriage. I am named after my sisters though, and I have another full sister as well, so there are two of us they do not know about. It is hard finding them because they may be married (new last names) and I don't know for sure where they were born or any other details. I just have their names and a picture, and a story. The youngest girl, Diane, looks like me as a child and Sharon looks like my older sister. Sharon and Diane would probably be mid to late 40 to possibly 50 years of age. I would love so much to find them. I do not know what happened to the marriage between their mother and our father, but it has been so many years ago, and I just want them to know my sister and I are out here.
