When I was in the 4th grade I remember a class about our early history . Some pertained to the pilgrims, Some pertained to the early whippersnappers of our new u.s.a. I remember I, could not help but wonder why my family name was not included in these facts. I naver heard the name John Endicott ever mentioned in any of my early colonial classes, Yet, somehow I knew that my family history and my ancestors had something more than what I had known to do with this new nation. My Grandpa Gov. John Endecott which I learned about 50 years latter was among the first founders of the mass. Bay colonies. Oh! boy, If I had known this when I was going to school . I think I might have had some input about my early american family and the History class sure would have been more interesting. How it changed my life:I n0w have a greatter appreciation of this beloved new world of ours. I reap the from my own property a great deal more satisfaction everytime that I clear more brush from the wilderness of my own property. I understand much more the value of my own acheivements that I personaly have made, not knowing what drove me to forward. I now know that 375 hundred orso years on the trail to my ancestors next homestedmust have made me too find a place in the wilderness. I also live the lastand only home on my road.I carved it from the wilderness before I found out my ancestors were apart of New England. 1628 Puritan family. first Gov. of Mass. bay. My o ther grandpa was Gov. John Winthrop. My grandma was Elizabeth his Daughter.
