I was born in San Francisco, California on October 04, 1964, at St. Joseph's Hospital(Park St. & Buena Vista). The Hospital no longer exists and searches have led me to a sealed, original, birth certificate in Sacramento, California. I am searching for my birth mother. Her name may have been Joanne Markway, at the time and she may have been born Joanne James around 1930. I am also searching for information about my birthfather, Larry P. Markway. He and my mother may or may not have been married. I have not received much help from my adoptive parents for this search but have signed a 'consent to contact' form which has been placed in my adoption file in California. I now live in Connecticut with my wife and son and wish to contact any relatives from my birth family. Additional info: my birth mother was employed as a saleswoman and my birthfather was a bartender, both in San Francisco. My mother may have needed to keep me a secret. Why we are looking for them:There is a constant feeling of never being able to depend on anyone but myself and that I do not deserve to be loved as I was abandoned. There is underlying anger that can cause problems in relationships.
