Steel-Cold Ghost

I was about thirteen when my ghost story happened. I was alone at my grandmother's house in a small town in southern Illinois. My family had went to a local shopping mall to do some Christmas shopping. I asked my grandmother if I could stay at her house while they were away. She had said that she didn't care but she had too leave for a couple of hours to run some errands of her own. I was a little bothered by that fact since I was visited by ghosts when I was a child living in that same house. She told me I would be o.k. and I agreed. She left the house around three o'clock. A winter storm had been predicted earlier on T.V. It gets dark around four-thirty in the winter. At the time this happened it was about six o'clock. My grandmother still hadn't returned and I was still all by myself. I know this was not a prank because I was the only one in the house. I had laid down in her front living room watching a video I had purchased earlier on that day. I go! t tired and was almost about to go to sleep when I started to hear a shuffleling sound in the upstairs bedroom. My grandmother has a two story home so it made matters worse. I sat and listened to the sound for about three to four minutes when all of a sudden it stopped. Then I heard the footstep's coming down the stairs. It was coming in my direction. Getting scared, Igot my grandpa's twelve-gauge shotgun. I loaded it and waited by the front door in the living room. I still don't know exactly what you would call it. It was a iron-clad gray color type ghost. It had these weird green colored rings around it's body. It was a figure of an elderly man about 60 years old. He said nothing but just stood there. He looked at me with cold steel blue eyes, then he turned around and vanished. I seen nothing after that but, I heard wild screaming and laughter.
