Ghosts and UFO

There are a few stories I am about to share all I might add are true. This took place last year 1996 I was 11 years of age, I was playing hide and go seek with my friend when we heard a clicking sound. It was coming from the closet. when I stepped into the room it stopped. We thought it was a bug at first but with a thuro search nothing could explain the noise. Since my friends home is 256 yrs old we figured it had to be a ghost. The next incident my friend discribed to me is most weird. He was staying at his mothers house and this house had been in the family for generations and was said to be haunted by ghosts from the family. Anyway he woke up early one morning and got out some crackers to spread pate on them when he heard his alarm go off not wanting to wake his mother he went upstairs to turn it off. When he came downstairs their was pate on his crackers. This may sound stupid but there was noone in the house but him and his mother so can you explain this mistery?? My last and final story is about a small town of Wellington Ontario in which I live in. This year while i was walking my dog when There was a light that fell apon me it looked as though some one was scanning me like you see on sci-fi movies only nothing was in the sky when i looked up. I thought nothing of it until now because my dog didn't seem to notice. Well I figure it was a ufo while looking through some articles of last year when some of my friends and the man that works at the dock saw something hovering over the water. It appeared to be a UFO. I thought it to be a hoax until I too saw this.
