Aslhand Or. 1963. Looking for biologiacl father

I am trying to help my wife locate her biological father. Although we have little informatoion to go on, maybe someone will recognize the place and events. My wife was born in Ashland, OR. Her mother's maiden name was Mary Ann McCartney. Mary lived with her mother and four brothers. One of the brothers was in the service. His name was Mike McCartney. While on leave in June or July of 1963 he brought home a freind with him, who may also have been in the service. He introduced this person to his sister Mary and a short lived romance followed. Mary became pregnet. She then began dating and married Harvey Weiman and told Harvey that the child was his. Once he found out the truth they divorced. In 1966 when my wife was two years old Mary married another man and they never told my wife the truth until she was eighteen years old in 1982. Mary insisted that the father was Harvey Weiman but old freinds of the family who knew the whole story said that Mary tried to pin it on Harvey but that her biological father was the freind of Mike's. No one remembers a name or knew where this man was from. It is my wifes dream to find her father. If nothing more than to just meet him. She has not had speaking terms with her mother since 1983. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

My wife would receive a peace of mind in knowing her father
